We are hiring a decisive and experienced Senior Data Engineer to own our data infrastructure. You will design scalable architectures, build production-grade pipelines, and ensure trusted analytics-ready data across Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Pipelines

  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and dbt.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines following Medallion Architecture (Raw, Staged, Curated).
  • Write and optimise high-performance SQL queries for analytics workloads.

Microsoft Fabric & Snowflake

  • Architect and deploy Microsoft Fabric solutions — OneLake, Fabric Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, Power BI.
  • Leverage deep Snowflake expertise for enterprise data warehousing.
  • Implement dbt for data modelling, testing, and documentation.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Ensure data quality, freshness, governance, and lineage across all data assets.
  • Own and independently resolve complex technical data engineering challenges.
  • Maintain strong Azure infrastructure knowledge (AZ-104, AZ-305 certified).

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the bridge between technical implementation and business requirements.
  • Communicate architectural decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document data models and pipeline decisions for team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Expert-level SQL and Python skills.
  • Deep Snowflake data warehousing experience.
  • Strong dbt expertise for data modelling and testing.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience — OneLake, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, Power BI.
  • Strong Azure infrastructure understanding.
  • AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) and AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) certifications required.
  • Strong ownership mindset and self-sufficient problem-solving ability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
